Children’s Groups

2 — 3 Years of Age:

2–3’s meet at the same time as the regular church service. There is a time of prayer, singing, and a Bible lesson presented at their age level. Mostly, we want them to understand that each of them is special and loved by God.

K4 — 1st Grade:

4–5’s also meet at the same time as the regular church service. The format is very similar to that for 2–3 year olds except that 4–5’s join the older children for a combined time of praise and worship. After this time of praise of worship they return to their classroom for prayer and a Bible lesson.

2nd — 5th Grade:

The 2nd–5th grade service at CBC is meant to teach children how to participate in worship, pray together, and learn Bible truths. These children enjoy meeting together for praise and worship, prayer, and a combined Bible lesson. After the lesson they break into their own small groups to talk about the lesson and answer questions about what they just heard. They also receive take home materials that reinforce Bible truths they learned that weekend.

Youth Group

6th — 12th Grade:

Icon |ˈīˌkän|: a picture, image, or other representation; a sign or representation that stands for its object by virtue of a resemblance or analogy to it.

ICON Student Ministries believes that each student is a walking representation of Jesus Christ and His life on earth. ICON exists to empower students to be dynamic followers of Jesus in their homes, schools, and communities.

Currently, ICON meets every Wednesday night at 6:30 at our youth room, the Warehouse. We pray, fellowship, study God’s Word, play games and participate in community outreach and missions projects.

Our teens also participate in small group activities and with a small group leader where accountability is very important.
