Our Mission . . .
Located in downtown Clover, SC, Carolina Baptist Church was founded in 2007 with the purpose of reaching the greater Charlotte, NC area with the Gospel of Christ. CBC desires to minister to each individual and family from every walk of life. The mission of CBC is threefold: to lead individuals into a personal relationship with Christ; to disciple and build up believers; and to send out Christians into the mission fields of their communities and across life.
Our Church . . .
CBC is dedicated to the practical biblical teaching of God’s Word, corporate worship, fellowship and discipleship of the believer — both young and old. A primary focus of CBC is to strengthen the daily walk of faith, by encouraging our members to put their faith into practice. Various groups at CBC, from teens to adults effectively do this by reaching out to others in need and by a commitment to serving.
Our Community . . .
Reaching our community for Christ is a major focus at CBC. We believe Jesus expects His followers to be the light of the world, starting in our own neighborhoods.
CBC is involved in many community outreach programs and has established Carolina Christian Academy — a school where families can send their children to receive a quality education with a Christian worldview. Our World . . .
Our desire at CBC is to minister to the entire world. Currently, CBC is active in giving to several mission efforts, as well as encouraging our members to be personally active in going to the mission field. CBC has been active in Haiti both financially and in short-term missions trips. Our mission trips are developed with the understanding that CBC is a part of the global Body of Christ and we should be actively involved across the world.
