As a church and as a family we are excited about launching our small group connection sites. One of the most difficult tasks that we as church have to address is, "How do we ensure that everyone in the church gets connected?"

It is easy to attend a church service, leave when the service is over, smile at those around you, but never personally connect with individuals. Some people come to church with a strong desire to connect with people. As a church, we have a calling to impact and transform lives for Christ, but to do this sometimes we have to transform ourselves to generate a deeper impact. This is why beginning in August we are launching our small group connection sites.

A small group consists of 4-12 people who meet together on a weekly basis for prayer, fellowship, Bible study, and community outreach. This time is not just “another Bible study”, but so much more: its Christians doing life with other Christians, all while growing closer to Christ and each other.

Small groups are targeted to place an individual around others that are in their same walk of life. The location will be determined by the small group itself. Most small groups will meet in homes, while some may meet at the church, and some may meet at Starbucks (the sky is the limit). What's important is that these groups meet, experience life, and grow closer to Christ — together.
